Tennis
Natomas Racquet Club is the new home of the St. Francis tennis team.
Tennis tryouts will begin the first day of school, August 16th, at 4 p.m. at Natomas Racquet Club. Please try to get to the club as soon as possible after school. Tryouts will continue everyday for the first week, with additional matches being played on Saturday, August 21st and Saturday, August 28th. Please plan to be available on those Saturdays. Additional information will follow when tryouts begin.

Tennis Team Finishes Strong

The St. Francis tennis team had another great season. The team finished in first place in the Delta River League with a record of 10-0 and an overall undefeated record of
16-0. They also won the Santa Catalina Tournament for the third year in a row.
Four of our players advanced to the individual section playoffs: Emani Decquir ’09 and Megan Poirier ’12 in the singles and Victoria Rudd ’09 and Sarah Wannakuwatte ’10 in the super doubles.
The Tennis Team defeated St. Mary’s of Stockton 5-4 to claim the Division I Section Title and advanced to the Norcal Playoffs.
Emani Decquir placed first as an individual in the Delta River League Championships and won the Section Division I Individual Tennis Title for the 3rd year in a row. She won both the semifinal and final in tough, 3-set matches.
