My name is Ria Flores, and I’m a marketing and alumni relations professional at Stanford University, focusing on digital strategy and making a global impact. I graduated from St. Francis in 2013 and currently serve as president of our Alumnae Board. I studied communications at UC Davis and received my bachelor’s degree in 2017. My journey into the world of marketing has been filled with creativity, growth, and discovery. During college, I honed my skills through internships in marketing, social media, graphic design, and video production, building the foundation for my diverse career.

I started my career in communications and programming at an environmental non-profit organization, before moving to the Bay Area and transitioning to B2B marketing at an international commercial real estate firm. After gaining experience in marketing production and strategy, I found my home in higher education. Over the last 3+ years, I have specialized in digital marketing, alumni relations, and event and program management, creating strategies that connect and inspire people across the globe.

The world of marketing is full of opportunities, and I truly believe it’s an amazing career path to embark on. I’m passionate about my work in digital marketing and higher education, knowing my efforts help make a difference worldwide. Outside of work, I enjoy living on the beach in Pacifica, where you can find me reading, coloring, spending time with loved ones, and exploring the outdoors.
