Dear Faculty and Staff,

This morning, an email was sent from PowerSchool regarding a security breach that occurred in December 2024. We were unaware of the timing of this notification and want to reassure you that Social Security numbers and financial information are NOT stored within the St. Francis PowerSchool system and were not affected by this incident.

According to PowerSchool they have taken appropriate steps to “prevent the data involved from further unauthorized access of misuse.”  This incident has been contained, and PowerSchool does not anticipate the data being shared or made public. 

PowerSchool is taking precautionary measures and notifying those affected nationwide about their actions to resolve this matter in accordance with State law.
