Barbara Ching attended Santa Clara University and graduated with a Business Marketing degree in 2005. Post college she worked in marketing at iD Tech Camps, a company that provide summer technology programs to students at universities across the United States. A few years after college she decided to switch career paths to education and earned her MS in Educational Leadership/Administration and worked in student and event services at Sacramento State, University of Pacific and for the California Charter Schools Association. After a decade in education, she switched pathways again where she earned certifications in organizational change management, facilitation, training and agile methodologies to begin her next chapter working as a civil service analyst, specialist, manager and assistant chief in Human Resources Organizational Development and on large technology implementations at the State Controller’s Office and California State Teachers’ Retirement System. Outside of work Barbara serves on multiple non-profit boards, enjoys playing pickleball and soccer, attending broadway shows, traveling, reading, and supporting her daughter in Gymkhana horse shows.
