Volleyball Wins Seventh Straight Match

ELK GROVE, Calif. – The St. Francis volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 win over Sheldon Monday, winning their seventh consecutive match to improve to 14-2 and 5-0 in the Delta League.

“We did pretty good,” said setter Jesiree Moral. “There are definitely some things we can work on in slower paced games. Overall, we did pretty well executing.”

The Troubadours dropped just 19 points in the match and hit 46 percent. Malia Berry led the team with eight kills and freshman Chloe Henning added seven in the win.

SF posted set wins 25-6, 25-10, 25-3. The Troubies host Franklin on Wednesday with all three levels on the court.

Moral and Mady Schildmeyer combined for 24 assists in the conest.
