Join us for a fun morning of classes and activities! Each Camp day features three class rotations, outdoor activity time, and snacks. All campers will rotate through the following classes:
Journey Through The Eras: A Taylor Swift Study
In this fun class, we will be traveling through the discography of one Taylor Alison Swift, discussing the way she uses language, poetry and literature to convey complex and familiar themes in the human experience. We’ll also learn the “girl math” behind Taylor’s economic impact on the music industry and her philanthropy. No Swiftie Study would be complete without some bejeweled crafts and tasty Taylor treats!
Rising Researchers: Media, Journalism and Writing
Understanding how to conduct effective research and to write with clarity are such important skills, especially in the age of AI. This engaging class will look at media history and journalism by reading, analyzing and discussing articles and videos on both historical and current events in an age-appropriate way. Students will also practice their own journalism skills by writing, illustrating and sharing short articles based in fiction and reality.
Dynamic Moves and Fitness Fun
Embark on a captivating journey in our movement class, designed for students seeking exploration in diverse physical activities. Each day unfolds a unique movement experience, from the rhythm-packed sessions of Zumba to the mindful stretches of yoga and the strength-building focus of Pilates. This class is a dynamic blend of fun and education, encouraging participants to discover the joy of movement while enhancing their overall well-being. Join us for exciting challenges and varied exercises, fostering a deeper connection with the body and a love for staying active.
Campers may stay on campus for a supervised lunch (bring your own or purchase from our cafeteria) regardless of whether they are joining us for afternoon camps. Our Camp Troubie counselors will be leading activities during the lunch period. Campers not attending an afternoon camp must be picked up by 1:00 pm.
