Strategic Plan
Shaping Our Future

The future is bright at St. Francis! Our extensive research, reflection and analysis has culminated in the executive summary of our strategic plan, Shaping Our Future: 2023-2028. This strategic vision for our future is informed by rich data sources, the input of our valued constituents including parents, students, alumnae, and diocesan partners, and reflective of our Catholic faith tradition. Through the year-long work of an exceptionally talented and dedicated Strategic Planning Committee, guided by a team of expert consultants and co-collaborators at Meitler who bring a 50-year history of working with Catholic schools across the United States, the culminating document guides and informs our future.

Making Waves: Building our Future Aquatics Complex

St. Francis Catholic High School Sacramento, CA Future Aquatics Complex

Designed to serve our students’ needs for aquatic competition, fitness and recreation, the plan includes one 25-yard competition swimming pool, a smaller, four-lane programming and instructional pool with ramp accessibility, shaded viewing stands, three sand volleyball courts, fitness center, improved paved parking, restrooms, and an event-only concession stand. St. Francis submitted a formal application to the City of Sacramento and we are awaiting final approval.

The backdrop to the aquatic center will include renovating the armory building to serve as our auxiliary gym and STEM Zone. Providing increased safety for walkers and drivers, this area will be linked to the main campus through a pedestrian promenade.

Upon approval of the plans, a full-fledged public fundraising campaign is anticipated to begin in 2025.
