Ways to Give to SFHS

Fundraising is a vital part our culture. We are committed to continuing the St. Francis traditions of faith, leadership, excellence and service.

While tuition covers roughly 85 percent of the operating budget of the school, additional resources are necessary to carry a St. Francis education forward. Through gifts of time, talent, and treasure, the philanthropy of our community supports outstanding programs and facilities, and provides tuition assistance to more than 24 percent of our families.

We are so excited to join in the celebrations with you and your Senior through these next couple of months. We will keep you updated about senior events as plans get finalized via this Senior Newsletter. All information and communications sent about senior events will be housed on our website and easily accessible on our Graduation Information page. Please bookmark this page and use it as your “home base” for senior happenings!

Baccalaureate and Graduation Practice: May 21 at 1:00 pm
Senior Sunset: May 21 at 7:00 pm
Baccalaureate Mass: May 22 at 5:30 pm (Preludes at 4:45 pm) Doors Open 4:30 pm
Graduation: May 23 at 3:00 pm (Grads arrive 11:30 am; doors open at 1:30 pm)
Grad Night : May 23 at 10:00 pm
Dads & Grad Breakfast (for Return Grad Night): May 25 at 6:00 am
Diploma & Cumulative File Pick-Up: May 29 from 8:00 am – 11:00 am

Senior Free Dress Privileges
Used Uniform Collection

Starting April 15: Daily college shirts and flip-flops can be worn.
Starting April 22: Full free dress begins.

Used uniform collection: Students can begin dropping off their used uniforms on April 22.

Troubie for Life Survey

This survey, which will be sent out in April and due May 1, will only take a few minutes for seniors to complete and needs to be submitted before graduation. There is an opportunity to give a shout out to a faculty or staff member that made a difference and provide contact information (email and cell phone) for future school communications.

Cafeteria Balance
Students will be notified by May 3rd

Seniors are notified if they have a balance in their “mySchoolBucks” cafeteria account greater than $10. If there is a younger sibling that will be attending St. Francis in the fall, the balance will automatically transfer to the younger sibling. If there is no younger sibling, students will be given the option to donate the funds to the St. Francis Fund to provide tuition assistance for incoming students or receive a refund check sent to their home.

Senior Final Exams

Attendance/Discipline will be automatically reviewed per each senior when we return from Easter break. Seniors will be notified on April 26, if she needs to take finals for attendance or discipline issues (not before). Teachers will notify individual students if she needs to take a final in the class due to grades (those dates may vary). Seniors may be required to take a final, regardless of grade, in elective and P.E. courses.

Graduation Cap & Gowns

Graduation gowns will be distributed in front of the College and Counseling Center on May 1, following the Farewell Mass at 11:10 am.
