Why I Give to SFHS

Overview

Why I Give

We are committed to educating young women to be leaders who can help shape and influence our society. The education a young woman receives at St. Francis Catholic High School is not the same education she could receive at any other school. We are unique. In the spirit of Pax et Bonum, we cultivate women who will change the world. Faith matters. Excellence matters. Leadership matters. Service Matters.

The mission of the Advancement Department is to keep St. Francis accessible to all qualified students and secure financial resources for its future financial needs. However, we cannot do this without your help. Your investment in the many lives and ministries of St. Francis ensures that these good works go on and all the students and families that desire this faith-filled education can participate.

St. Francis gratefully accepts checks, cash, and online donations. We also offer Planned Giving opportunities and are able to accept Vehicle Donations, and/or donations of Stocks and Securities.

Here is why some of our donors support St. Francis:

Ava Marie & Christopher Conlin (Grace ‘18, Rose ‘19)

“Giving inspires everyone in our family, not just the Troubies, to take part in everything St. Francis offers . . . Masses, Eucharistic Adoration, athletic and arts events, and community celebrations. At each and every one of them, we feel so appreciated and welcome . . . like part of the family.”

Hannah Gonzalez ‘12

“My time at St. Francis very much shaped who I am today, and I’m forever grateful for the opportunities given to me and friendships made during my time there. With the support of the alumnae community, my hope is that St. Francis continues to provide opportunities for young women to grow and be the best they can be.”

Marion Sarte ‘08 – Gumbelevicius Scholarship Recipient

“I give because I am grateful for the support and encouragement from my closest family, friends, and the donors from whose generosity I greatly benefited during my years at St. Francis. I think the best way to show my gratitude is to continue passing on that spirit of generosity by sharing what I have been blessed with.”

Susan and Robert Burky (Mary Catherine ‘18)

“St. Francis respects young women, providing them with truth and sound Catholic values. Every young lady should be afforded the opportunity to see herself through the eyes of her Creator!”
