Stephanie (Verdon) Fuller ‘99
Vice President, George Reed, Inc.
I’ve spent the bulk of my career (~20 years) on the Construction/Project Management and Estimating side. Project Contract experience over the years involved both public and private owners with focus on infrastructure scope including mass grading (subdivisions, sitework, dam modifications), hard rock excavation, structural & minor concrete, utilities, and roadway improvements. I’ve had several memorable projects, with my favorites being Folsom Spillway Phase 1 & 2 (both for Bureau of Reclamation), Plymouth Roundabout (City of Plymouth), and Miner Avenue Complete Streets mile-long roadway reconstruct & beautification (City of Stockton). I completed my BS in Construction Management at Chico State ’04. I interned for Kiewit in summer ’03 and then full-time upon graduation until end of 2014. I’ve been with George Reed, Inc. since. My responsibilities at GRI have advanced from Project Manager/Estimator to Business Manager in early ’23, and currently as Vice President since early ’24. Construction is a challenging yet rewarding industry. What keeps me going are the everyday challenges we overcome, the collaboration with people, and the work we build. My advice for others: Never stop learning, always think big, be a leader, take initiative, mentor others, and do what’s right.
