As the school year comes to a close, saying goodbye to the Class of 2024 is bittersweet; we will miss the Tinkerbells! While they are preparing for their future endeavors, we hope all other students are preparing for a fun and engaging summer. Check out the ideas below on making the most of your time off. The Final Transcript and College Plans Form is due tomorrow, Wednesday, May 15th. We realize that not all students have finalized their college plans due to the delayed deadline of May 15 and/or June 1 to let colleges know you are attending. Seniors should email Ms. Rivera if they need to change the location of where their transcript will be sent.
The last day for any student-initiated schedule change is May 22, 2024. Students must contact their Counselor to discuss the schedule change. Schedules will be emailed to families the first week of July.
At the end of this week, the Class of 2025 will receive an email that includes their College Planning and Letter of Rec Packet as well as a Parent Brag Sheet. Vanellopes should work on the packet over the summer and turn it in to the Counseling & College Center by Friday, August 16th.
The College Advisors will host optional College Application Labs on Thursday, August 8 and Friday, August 9 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Seniors can take advantage of one or both days to work on their college applications with College Advisors available to help.
The Class of 2026 will take the digital PSAT on Tuesday, October 8. This test is mandatory and juniors will receive detailed information, including information about a practice PSAT, when they return to school in the Fall.
The Class of 2025 will have the opportunity to take an optional School Day SAT on Friday, October 11 and an optional School Day ACT on Tuesday, October 15.
