St. Francis High School Announces Newest Members of Marketing and Communications Team
St. Francis High School is thrilled to welcome two distinguished professionals to the Marketing and Communications team, Michelle McCauley, Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications and Shavara Johnson, Digital Media Strategist. These new additions to our team will work alongside our longstanding Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications and proud alumna of St. Francis Class of 1996, Leigh Hiers, who has been an integral part of our community. Michelle and Shavara bring fresh perspectives to the department and embrace the mission and values of St. Francis High School.
Michelle McCauley – Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications
We are excited to announce Michelle McCauley as our new Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications. With over a decade of expertise in strategic brand planning, execution, and campaign management, Michelle brings a wealth of experience to our team.
Michelle has made notable contributions to renowned brands like Papa Murphy’s Take ‘n’ Bake Pizza, California Family Fitness and most recently Bonney Plumbing, Electrical, Heating and Air, where she spearheaded the rebrand, increased market position, and customer satisfaction, positioning them as one of Northern California’s most trusted home service companies.
In 2023, she was recognized with the Sacramento Business Journal’s C-Suite Award, celebrating her leadership and achievements as Chief Marketing Officer for Bonney Plumbing, Electrical, Heating and Air. Her expertise in a variety of industries, strong community relationships, passion for public outreach, and our school will be invaluable to our team.
Michelle’s innovative strategies, creative vision and ability to lead teams will further elevate the St. Francis community. We are eager to see the impact of her leadership as we continue to strengthen and enhance our student and family experience.
Shavara Johnson – Digital Media Strategist
Shavara Johnson is an accomplished communications specialist with over five years of freelance experience. Shavara brings a wealth of knowledge from her previous roles as Communications Director at the Oklahoma Green Schools Program and Communications Manager at the Oklahoma Recycling Association.
Shavara’s skills in content creation, social media management, and analytic reporting will be instrumental in enhancing the digital presence for St. Francis. She has a proven ability to organically grow social media audiences and engagement, develop long-form educational articles, and produce thoughtful leadership campaigns. Shavara holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Science in Digital Media Management from the University of Southern California. Her dedication to professional development is evident through her awards and certifications, including the prestigious NextGen 30 under 30 recipient.
