Elena Fricke attended the University of Alabama where she earned a BS and MS in nutritional sciences. She also completed a dietetic internship and became credentialed as a Registered Dietitian (RD) in 2018. She has worked in a variety of settings, including community health, trauma and critical care surgery, gastroenterology, and bariatrics. She currently works at Stanford as part of the Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery team where she counsels patients to help them achieve their health goals. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, taking dance classes, and working on sewing projects.
