I am an HR Director and have been in the HR profession for over 30 years.  I spend my day supporting, enabling, and energizing people from all walks of life.  I find the work challenging and very rewarding.  My role involves me in the strategy of a large organization in which I provide guidance and support on not only the mundane HR policies, procedures and employee relations that come with the field, but also the application of such when an organization as large and complex as Sutter (and my previous employers) are looking to merge, divest, create and integrate new lines of business, redesign support models and bring forward new career framework and/or org design model that help accelerate change with the companies most important asset – it’s people.
I obtained my B.S.  degree in Organizational Behavior from USF in 2002, and since then attained five HR credentials from three different HR Associations.  And come May, I will complete my executive MBA degree at my alma mater – University of San Francisco.
Besides my formal educational journey, I am passionate about my family, my children, and my volunteer work.  In 2017, I took my passion of HR and inherent desire to help others by campaigning for philanthropic donations toward the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Greater Sacramento Chapter and have since raised directly or through sponsorships over $500,000. And most recently, in 2021 I was elected to the Board of Trustees of the Leukemia & Lymphomas Society, Greater Sacramento (Valley) Chapter and serve on the board currently.
In my free time I enjoy cooking, gardening, reading, and traveling the globe with my husband and two children.
