Tina Harris began teaching at St. Francis HS in the fall of 2006 as the director of anything “singing”.  A Sacramento native, Mrs. Harris received both her B.A in Voice and her Masters in Choral Conducting from CSU Sacramento. She can’t remember a time in her life when she wasn’t involved in music and can honestly say she has sung in or directed some sort of choir every year of her life since the 3rd grade. For the last 20 years, her main focus has been singing in the Sacramento Master Singers, a very fine community choir directed by Dr. Ralph Hughes. She’s been the soprano section leader and assistant director for many of those years. She also has been integral to her church’s music offerings, having sung in and led the Praise Band for almost 12 years. Her time at St. Francis has been some of the most memorable and impactful music-making years of her career and she looks forward to many, many more.
