All students enrolled in AP classes are required to take the AP Exams. St. Francis registers students for their appropriate AP exams and students who complete the AP test are excused from final exams in relevant courses.
AP Reminders:
- All AP materials have been ordered for the 2024/2025 school year.
- Families will be invoiced through their FACTS tuition account by October 11, 2024. FACTS will automatically withdraw your AP exam fee on November 8, 2024.
- Exam Fees for 2025 = $99 for
exams/portfolios, $147 for AP Seminar & AP
Research
- Fees are set by College Board:
- Students taking 1 AP Exam: $99
- Students taking 2 AP Exams: $198
- Students taking 3 AP Exams: $297
- Students taking 4 AP Exams $396
- Students taking 5 AP Exams $495
- Fees are set by College Board:
- The College Board provides a $37 fee reduction per exam for students who qualify for the Federal Free or Reduced Lunch Program. For each exam taken with a fee reduction, the school forgoes its $9 rebate. Students who qualify will automatically be granted the fee reduction, resulting in a cost to the student of $53 per exam. ($101 for AP Seminar or AP Research)
- The College Board has also imposed a late fee of $40 for anyone who either adds or drops their AP exam after registration after November 15, 2024
- AP Exams will take place beginning May 5th, 2025 and continue through May 16th.
