Data from the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP)
was recently released and we are proud to share that Catholic
schools came out on top. When compared to their public school
counterparts across the nation, Catholic school students’ average
scores remained 15 points higher than the average scores of their
8th grade peers. Although the data looked at standardized testing
for grades 4 through 8, it has implications for Catholic
secondary education as well. Take a closer look at the NAEP
findings in the
National Report Card and read more about the
tremendous progress for Catholic schools nationwide in a recent
Wall Street Journal piece celebrating Catholic
school student achievement.
