Freshman Basketball Wins Antioch Tournament

ANTIOCH, Calif. – Mia Fleming-Mullins was named the tournament most valuable player and Hannah Dorsey was named to the All-Tournament team as the St. Francis freshman team posted a 41-34 victory over San Rafael to win the Antioch Christmas Holiday Jamboree.

St. Francis fell behind early 12-5 after the first quarter but rallied to take a 21-20 halftime lead. Dorsey scored six points in the second quarter to help the comeback. The Troubies pulled ahead for good in the third and Fleming-Mullins sealed the game in the fourth quarter with six points in the final period.

Fleming-Mullins scored a team best 16 points and 13 rebounds in the win and Hannah Dorsey added 13 points and nine rebounds. Andralee Harmon contributed eight points and 10 rebounds in the championship game.

St. Francis also beat host Pittsburg (46-29) and California (44-3) en route to the championship. St, Francis is now 11-2 on the season.
