Junior Sarah Healey Leads Win over Monterey Trail, Grant

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Junior Sarah Healey won the shot put and discus events in personal-record fashion to help St. Francis post a 82-42 win over Monterey Trail. Grant did not participate in the meet.
Healey threw the shot 28-9.5 for a personal-best to take first place. Senior Lauren Wilkins was second with a personal-best 26-7.5. In the discus, Healey tossed the disc a personal-best 83-1 for a new personal-best and improving her season best for the fifth time this season. Senior Alex Freund was second with her best throw of the season (70-9) with senior Isabella Quiniola putting the shot 54-5 for her personal-best.
Overall, St. Francis won 11 events in the meet with Monterey Trail.
