Junior Varsity Lacrosse Selects Team Awards

RANCHO MURIETA, Calif. – The St. Francis junior varsity team celebrated their record-breaking season with their awards dinner on May 6. The team finished with an 11-3 overall mark, the most wins by the JV program in school history. The team finished the season with an 8-6 win over Davis, a team that defeated St. Francis 15-4 earlier in the season.

Gabby Bauman was named the Most Valuable Attack Player, finishing second on the team with 21 goals and 27 points. Sydney Wagnon led the team with 25 goals and 33 points. Kristy Cordano was selected the Most Valuable Midfielder, placing third on the team with 17 goals. Emma Garvey was named the Most Valuable Defender and Hannah Brady was chosen the Most Improved Player.
