SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The St. Francis lacrosse team is seeded 15th in the North Coast Section bracket and will play at No. 2 California in the bracket released by the North Coast Section. The game will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10 in San Ramon.
“Playing in the NCS playoffs gives us more confidence and allows us to play the competition from the Bay area to see what are up against,” said Head Coach Julia Southard. “We want to be competing in those games and winning those games. Right now just getting there is a huge accomplishment for our program and we are excited about it.”
The winner will advance to the quarterfinals against the winner of No. 7 Dougherty Valley and No. 10 Carondelet. Sacramento Valley League member Oak Ridge earned a No. 5 seed and will host No. 12 University. No. 8 Granite Bay will host Davis.
