SACRAMENTO, Calif. – St. Francis Water Polo Coach Heather Moody will be a speaker at the Girls in the Game event hosted by the Positive Coaching Alliance at Sacramento State on March 2 from 5-8 p.m. The cost is $20.

Girls in the Game is designed to educate and empower young female athletes to be the voices and leaders of our future, while also giving them specific tools to further their current athletic and personal goals.

Girls in the Game has been a year in the planning and will include an inspirational speech by Olympian Summer Sanders, an informational panel discussion with Moody, Sanders and other female athletes, a very useful mental game workshop lead by a sports psychologist and an introduction to and discussion on Title IX.
