At last year’s auction, the fund-a-vision appeal was to build out a STEM Zone in the armory (now the Auxiliary Gym & STEM Zone). Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, much work has been done and our Troubies are excited and grateful. Beginning this summer, teams of volunteers working alongside faculty and staff rehabilitated a room specifically for Science Olympiad including resurfacing the floor, resurfacing and painting the walls, moving equipment from the Physics classroom into the Science Olympiad storage room, adding new tables, stools and workbenches to the room, and adding lab equipment. The teams are particularly excited to use the new CNC machine! This year, we will have three Science Olympiad teams who are excited to compete in 3-4 tournaments to test their learnings.
