CLOVIS, Calif. – The St. Francis 4×100-meter relay ream clocked a
48.83 to finish fifth in their heat and 20th overall.
“We went out there and tried to do our best,” said Schnabel.
Sophomore Kiani Reyna led off the relay before handing to junior
Sydney Hunter. Sophomore Lilly Enes ran the third leg and handed
to senior Amanda Schnabel, who ran the close the leg.
Reyna, Enes and Hunter will return Friday night in the 4×400.
Schnabel, who will run at Bellarmine University in Kentucky next
fall, completed her career with the relay event.
“It felt really good,” said Schnabel of running at the state
meet. “It was great for me to finish with a team event for my
last race.”
