Senior Tiffany Wong Wins Delta League Diving as SF Sweeps Top Three
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Senior Tiffany Wong edged sophomore teammate Molly Wilson by five points to win the Delta League diving title for the second consecutive season at Casa Roble High School.
“Tiffany and Molly have been great competition for each other all season and Molly has been tough to beat,” said Head Coach Dede Crayne. “It was very close today.”
Wong, who will dive at UC San Diego this fall, scored 418.30 for her 11-dive schedule.
“Tiffany has the perfect attitude and is always smiling,” said Crayne. “She is always supportive of everyone on the team.”
Wilson scored 413.00 to finish second overall and just 5.3 points out of first place. Julia Endicott finished third overall with a score of 324.95.
“Julia Endicott is a first-year sophomore and has been a huge addition to the team this season,” said Crayne.
Sophomore Camille Lutes was first overall in the junior varsity competition and sophomore Izzie Linne was second overall.
The team will compete in the Sac-Joaquin Section Trials on May 5 at McClatchy High School.
