After graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2016 with a degree in Child Development, I was hired at Google as an Early Childhood Educator at their onsite Children’s Centers. 

Over the past eight years at Google, I’ve embraced internal mobility, enabling me to shift from early childhood education into the tech space. I gained experience across Google Cloud, Engineering Education, and the Core organization, and furthered my professional development by completing a Master’s in Organizational Development during the pandemic. This led me to my current role as a Program Manager, where I lead the global operations for Google’s technical onboarding program.

My path proves that your initial field of study doesn’t define your career. Be open to change, embrace learning, and you might find yourself in unexpected and fulfilling places!
