St. Francis Stories: Emily Bradley
The gifts each St. Francis student possess are vast and can often go unrecognized, not for lack of caring or interest, but simply because there’s so much our students do outside of school time and walls. For example, participating in women’s youth bobsledding probably isn’t something one would equate with Sacramento or St. Francis. But sophomore Emily Bradley is doing just that! She recently returned from Austria and is now ranked #2 in the world! She appeared on Good Day Sacramento and is this week’s St. Francis Stories feature.
St. Francis Stories: Troubies dominate Holy Sticks matchup
Competition often inspires great stories and there’s certainly no shortage of competition this spring from our Troubadours! If you haven’t logged on to gotroubies.com lately or follow @SFHS.Athletics on social (HINT: some great moments are shared here), you’re missing out! It’s hard to choose just one headline to highlight: Troubies stun defending league, section champs or Miles, Hodge lead comeback in epic LAX battle.

St. Francis Stories: We are St. Francis
Each young woman at St. Francis is an individual, on her own journey, with her own talents, interests and aspirations. Together, WE are ST. FRANCIS ❤️
During Saturday’s 40th annual auction, we debuted this very special video, starring many of our Troubies. It was a labor of love inspired by our president, and realized by our digital media manager and friends at Univision. We want to make sure everyone sees it and feels free to share it far and wide. It’s the perfect installment for this week’s St. Francis Stories feature.

Right now, we have pre-trip photos and rehearsal videos posted. We’ll share images from Disneyland as soon as we can! What a great opportunity for our show choir students.
St. Francis Stories: SFHS Student Podcast Network
Teaghan Brostrom '23 Interviews SF alumna, Molly Riehl, a reporter for Good Day Sacramento
One of the easiest ways to enjoy St. Francis Stories is to listen to one of our podcasts. Did you know we have our very own Student Podcast Network? SFHS students host, interview, and edit a variety of shows covering topics across the board.
In our most recent episode of Troubie Throwbacks, SF alumna Molly Riehl, a reporter for Good Day Sacramento and the emcee of our upcoming Sip, Savor & Support auction event, talks with Teaghan Brostrom ‘23 about what a special place St. Francis truly is… and gets a little emotional as she recalls her favorite teacher.

St. Francis is featured on KFBK's Building a Better Sacramento segment
We’re launching a new feature in the Principal’s Newsletter called St. Francis Stories.
There are a lot of wonderful things happening on and around the St. Francis campus. We realize not everyone engages on social media (but we hope you follow us), watches local broadcasts or listens to the radio, so our hope is to make St. Francis stories as easily accessible as possible!
