Fall Sports Start Date, Tryouts, Sports Physicals

Fall Sports Start Date: Fall Sports can officially start on Monday August 5th. Each sport has their own process for tryouts and roster formation. Please make sure you are registered for your fall sport on FinalForms so you are getting the most up to date tryout information.

Retreat Registrations for the 2024-25 Year

Retreat Registrations for the 2024-25 school year will opened on July 8. Please use your existing Campbrain account to register.

Freshmen: Please register for the Freshman Overnight Retreat by August 7. Sign up now on your Campbrain account.
Juniors: Register now for the first Junior Retreat on Sept 18-20.

Spanish Immersion Trip to Costa Rica in February 2025

The Modern & Classical Languages Department is hosting a Spanish immersion trip to Costa Rica in February 2025! Registration is now open and the early bird rate of $4,033 will not last! The 8-day itinerary includes a visit to a sustainable organic farm, a boat trip to observe wildlife on the Río Frío, and three days on the beautiful coast of Guanacaste. 2024-2025 Class Schedules

Student schedules were emailed to Troubiemail accounts and parent emails the last week of June. While we have done our best to minimize course conflicts, there may be times when we are unable to honor all requests. This may occur when a student requests classes that are offered simultaneously during the same block, such as Advanced Placement, Honors, or specialty classes like Student Leadership. Additionally, when classes reach capacity (for example, Yoga) we have substituted another course in the same department. These substitutions or omissions are not considered a mistake.

Complete Your Campaign Hours This Summer

Rising Juniors and Seniors MUST complete 2 hours volunteering for a political campaign to fulfill a requirement for their Social Studies courses for the 2024/25 school year. This year we are allowing students to complete this requirement over the summer.

News from the Business Office

All FACTS tuition accounts need to be current by November 25^th for students to sit for their finals in December. If you have a past due balance to pay or would like to view your account, please log into your FACTS tuition account. The status of your account could also affect your daughter receiving her semester report card.

Please Plan for the Following:

Registration for the 2025 – 2026 school year will take place in early March 2025. The registration fee will be due at that time, along with the graduation fee for Seniors.

The 2025 – 2026 School Year Financial Aid Application Process through FACTS is open.

Simply log into your FACTS tuition account to apply by the deadline of December 20^th. St. Francis Catholic High School provides Financial Aid for families who qualify based on a demonstrated financial need. Financial aid enables St. Francis to assist students who could not otherwise afford to attend. Although total financial need always exceeds our resources, St. Francis helps as many families as possible.

We use two components of the PowerSchool system so you may track your daughter’s progress while she is at St. Francis – PowerSchool Student/Parent Portal and Schoology. They are two separate sites with two separate logins.

The Serra Court Café is cashless and uses MySchoolBucks for all student meal accounts. If you are new to the school, you can set up a free MySchoolBucks account by following the instructions on our website. Parents/students can also drop a check off in the front office payable to St.

Supplemental Chromebook Insurance
Don't Wait! Be sure to purchase supplemental Chromebook insurance today!

This month, the Technology Department has seen several student Chromebooks with battery failures. For students without supplemental insurance, Chromebook batteries are only covered under warranty for the first 12 months. Unfortunately, the cost to replace a battery can run over $100. For $34.95 a year, Securranty’s supplemental insurance will provide coverage for batteries, chargers, device malfunction, accidental damage, loss, theft, and standard perils. Classwize

Beginning this summer, St. Francis will roll out a new in class management software on student Chromebooks called Classwize. Classwize provides teachers with a dashboard to help students by minimizing distracting, non-relevant websites and apps during class time, and maximizing learning. It will also allow teachers to lock down Chromebooks during digital exams and assessments, replicating experiences students may encounter with College Board examinations (PSAT/SAT/AP) and in college.

Parking Permits

Any student parking on SFHS campus must have a school issued permit (including seniors with reserved painted parking spaces). Permits will be distributed the first few days of school. Please fill out this form as soon as possible if you have not done so already.

Early Dismissal Pass Request
2024 Fall Semester

Students are eligible for an Early Dismissal Pass (EDP) for free block(s) that fall at the END of the day only. Students who have the last block(s) of the day free may leave during the lunch block with an EDP.

Uniforms for 2024-2025

It is imperative that your student be in proper (including skirt length uniform) for the 2024-2025 school year. Here is the daily uniform dress code that will be enforced. If the article of clothing is not listed below, it is not part of the daily uniform.

Get started on your Family Service Hours for the 2024-25 Year!

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we want to inform you of a few changes to our Family Service Hour Program. Please see below for more details and reminders of elements that will remain the same.

Going into the 2024-25 school year, all families will be required to complete 25 hours for the school year. 10 of those hours must be completed in active service on campus. 15 of the hours can be made through specific donations indicated on our MVP website; every $30 spent will equate to 1 hour of service.
