Parent Newsletter: November 1, 2024
Some days are etched in our hearts forever, and for many of our students, homecoming week holds that special significance. For our parents, it might be the joy of sharing a crab feast or snagging incredible auction items during our events. For our dedicated faculty, it’s the well-deserved rest over the Christmas break. But for me, that day is Thankful Thursday!
Every year, we come together as a community for our Annual Day of Giving, Thankful Thursday. This is not just an event; it’s a lifeline for over 20% of our students and families who need financial assistance. In the 13 years since we launched this initiative, we’ve raised over $1.7 million, making it our most impactful appeal yet.
I’m reaching out to you with a heartfelt invitation to support a cause that truly matters to me and is vital for the future of St. Francis Catholic High School. On November 7th, we will celebrate Thankful Thursday, a day dedicated to ensuring that every girl with the dream of attending St. Francis can make that dream a reality, regardless of her financial circumstances.
Your generous support on Thankful Thursday will directly change lives, empowering deserving students to experience the transformative education and supportive community that has shaped over 12,000 successful alumnae.
Thank you for considering a gift to invest in our students’ futures and for helping us continue a legacy of empowerment and excellence. Your generosity makes all the difference.
Sincerely,
MaryAnne Kelly, P ‘09
