SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Sophomore Haanya Niazi shot a two-over par 38 to tie for medalist honors and help St. Francis post a 198 team score against Elk Grove in the Delta League opener for both teams at Haggin Oaks.

Senior Olivia Alcoran tied Niazi for low round on the day with her two-over par 38 helped by two birdies. Classmate Patricia Sweeney was one stroke back with a three-over par 39, while junior Nashla Aguero recorded a four-over par 40. Junior Ceci Fletcher carded a 43 and junior Amanda Siy had a 47 to round out the lineup.
