Grad Night Info
Know Before You Go!
What to wear: You will be “sleeping” on the bus for 2 nights so make sure to wear something comfortable. Once the bus parks at Disneyland the driver and chaperones will step outside to give you an opportunity to change into your park wear.
What to pack:
- Light toiletries to freshen up with on the bus the morning we arrive in Anaheim (brush, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant).
- Sunscreen and hat
- Empty water bottle – If you bring a filled water bottle we will ask you to empty it upon arrival on campus where you can then refill it from a water fill station.
- Comfortable walking shoes. Attendees average walking around 15 miles a day so wear comfortable, supportive shoes
- Phone charger – there will be outlets available on the bus and at Disneyland for you to charge your phone
- Prescription medications (must be approved by Dean Cost)
- Spending money for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the park
- Light sweater/sweatshirt – The morning and evenings can be cool
What NOT to pack:
- Alcohol, drugs, tobacco, vapes. Parents will be called to pick up their graduate for any attendee found to bring any of these items. Don’t risk it ~ keep the trip fun and safe for everyone!
- Valuable items ~ leave your expensive jewelry, make-up, and electronics at home. Although you can leave items on the bus and they will be locked while we are at Disneyland, the bus company is not responsible for items left on the bus.
- Food and/or drinks (unless you have permission to bring your own for medical reasons).
Behavior Agreement: Please refer to the Behavior Agreements that you committed to in Campbrain.
Bus Selection: After Baccalaureate practice attendees will be given the opportunity in Serra Court to sign up with their friends for the bus of their choice. Attendees should talk with their friends and have 1 representative from each friend group sign up the whole group. There are three buses, two of which will hold 53 attendees and the third one will hold 54 attendees. Additionally there will be at least 2 chaperones per bus. We will do our best to accommodate friend groups riding on the same bus.
