Elias Mendoza. St. Francis Catholic High School Sacramento, CA

Dear St. Francis Families,

I would like to thank all of the parents and family members that attended Back to School Night on Tuesday, August 27th. It was nice seeing our school community present and committed to educating our young women. The parental support and participation during our school functions reflect what it means to be a member of the St. Francis Community. Parents (and even grandparents!) are invited back to campus for our beloved Meet a Parent for Lunch days on September 11th/13th. This biannual event is a favorite among our students and we love sharing campus with our families.

Also, as we prepare for the three-day Labor Day Holiday, I hope you enjoy the holiday with your family and cherish the quality time you spend together. If you’re traveling this weekend, be safe and we’ll be waiting for you on Tuesday, September 3rd.

On this holiday weekend, when we get to rest from our usual labors, I ask that we pray for those that will continue to shoulder the burden of human labor. I also thank you Lord for the gift and opportunity of work; may our efforts always be pure of heart, for the good of others and the glory of your name.

St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us!
St. Clare of Assisi, pray for us!

In the spirit of Pax et Bonum (peace and goodness),

Elias Mendoza. St. Francis Catholic High School Sacramento, CA.

Dear St. Francis Families,

It is hard to believe that summer break is over and we are only a few days away from the start of the 2024-25 school year! The faculty and staff returned last week and we are eagerly anticipating the return of our Troubies.

Additionally, a lot of work has gone into preparing our campus for your daughter/s return, and I’m thankful to all of the individuals that have gone above and beyond to make this annual transformation possible. We are blessed to have such amazing facilities, and I hope you’re able to witness it for yourselves when attending some of the upcoming events, beginning with our Freshman Family Mass on Friday, August 16th, Welcome Mass on Wednesday, August 21st, and our Back to School Night on Tuesday, August 27th.

I look forward to meeting all of you in the next couple of weeks and pray the new school year is enriching and joy-filled for our new and returning families.

St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us!
St. Clare of Asissi, pray for us!

In the spirit of Pax et Bonum (peace and goodness),
