2009 Soccer Season Highlights
Our St. Francis Troubadours have been named the 2009 Girls State Team of the Year for soccer with a record of 20-0-3. Our Troubies captured their sixth section championship in the last seven years with a 3-1 victory over St. Mary’s of Stockton in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I finals. Junior Hannah Keane scored two goals in the championship win over the Rams to cement St. Francis’ status as the top team from California and a No. 4 ranking in the end of the season ESPN RISE FAB 50 national rankings.
Our Troubie lineup contained several Division I college players. Molly Klier is headed to Portland, Delta River League Player of the Year Hannah Davidson is headed to Indiana, and top junior Alex Brown has yet to decide where she’ll go for college.
Head coach Richard Carrigan has been named Delta River League Coach of the Year, and St. Francis is the first Sac-Joaquin Section team to be No. 1 in the state overall since Davis was accorded the top spot for the 1998-99 school year.

Varsity season, 20-0-3.
JV season, 12-3-2. JV Soccer went undefeated in league play, 10-0.
Frosh Soccer also won their League Title with a record of 13-0-1.
