ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Juniors Kiya and Kyla Jackson defended their Delta League doubles title and will represent the league in the Sac-Joaquin Section Individual doubles tournament Nov. 3-4 at Johnson Ranch Racquet Club.

The Jackson sisters defeated Lauren Duan and Lyna Jiang of Davis 6-3, 5-4 before the Blue Devil pair had to retire in the second set of the final. To reach the final, they defeated teammates Macy Wood and Sabrina Voeller in the semifinals 6-0, 6-1 and Cameron Parra and Samantha Sonntag in the quarterfinals 6-1, 6-1 in posting a perfect 4-0 mark on the day.

On Monday, freshman Adithi Benush defeated teammate Myra Anwar to advance to the finals of the Delta League Singles Championships 2-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-5). She earned a berth in the Sac-Joaquin Section singles bracket on Nov. 3. She lost to Lillian Okamoto of Davis in the finals.

St. Francis won the Delta League team championship and open the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs on Nov. 1.
